In several days Dublin will host a marvelous event in the world of innovations and technology. On November 3rd, the most outstanding professionals of our time will gather at Web Summit in order to share their business experience, discuss the latest technology trends and meet new partners. This will be a real summit – a kind of formal meeting with huge media exposure and prearranged agenda – for various groups of professionals coming from different fields and pursuing different goals at this meeting: startups, investors, accelerators, huge corporations and enterprises, media, entertainment. VCEE startups will be also present at this major European tech event.
“We are here to find the next Google, the next Facebook”, – Niklas Zennstrom, the founder of Skype, once said about Web Summit. A big part of activities at Web Summit will be devoted to startups, and, therefore, attract entrepreneurs from diverse ecosystems and investors in search of potentially successful deals. ALPHA is one of Web Summit’s key sections, where carefully selected startup projects will be exposed. The lucky teams that was selected for ALPHA exhibition will also have a chance to participate in Mentor Hours, Investor Office Hours, Startup Workshops, and Roundtables, not to mention a wide range of other opportunities for young entrepreneurs to present their ideas and get experts’ feedback. Investors, respectively, will see a great scene of currently developing tech innovations and find another partner to cooperate with. There is also a big PITCH program organized during Web Summit, where startuppers will fight for the main prize and demonstrate their business potential in front of representatives of international venture funds, incubators and accelerators.
If you are not one of those lucky Web Summit ticket owners, then you have to follow this grand event on popular media sources at least, in order not to fall behind the world tech trends and be aware of all the fresh business ideas, innovations, and explorations. More than 30 000 pre-registered attendees from more than 100 countries, including CEOs of Twitter, Netflix, Dropbox, Skype and many more world-famous tech giants will come to Dublin in order to participate in numerous theme summits in data, marketing, sports, health tech, fashion, food, design and other industries, arranged within Web Summit.
