Polish accelerator Orange Fab invites startups from CEE
Orange Fab team is in search of startups, whose products or services are very likely to scale and spread within Orange Group network. The primary industries are cyber security, mobile device management, cloud technologies, smart home, the Internet of Things, mobile payments and several more. During the selection process, Orange Fab will evaluate startups according to such criteria as a business model potential, the team, project development stage, relevance to the global strategy of Orange Group and the possibility of integration with the operator’s business activities.
The acceleration program will take place in spring 2016. During the three months, the lucky startup participants will get access to Orange Lab API, to the client and partner Orange databases (more than 500 mln new contacts), will have an amazing opportunity to work with outstanding mentors and experts from different countries and attend numerous workshops, designed specifically for the selected projects. Finally, Orange teams will have a chance to practice their presentation skills during the organized pitching sessions in Warsaw and Paris, plus visit the main insider and international events.
There are several possible formats of future cooperation between startups and Orange Group:

  •  joint commercial venture
  •  acquisition of an exclusive license for the solution designed the program
  •  revenue sharing cooperation
  •  capital investment
  • equity participation.

Meanwhile, startups don’t need to provide their company shares or be located in Poland in order to join the accelerator. All the travel costs associated with Demo Day will be covered by the organizers, calculated per one or two startup representatives.
The application process is open until January 6th, 2016. After several interactive online sessions, the organizers will announce the list of finalists in the middle of February.
Note that Orange Fab Polska is also open to cooperation with startups that are not particularly interested in the acceleration program, but have something to offer for Orange Group. In that case, you should choose the relevant option while filling out the application form.
